PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for a urea-containing liquid capable of highly efficiently removing urea from the urea-containing liquid, and preventing urea-derived ammonia from remaining.SOLUTION: The urea-containing liquid treatment method includes: a first adsorption step of bringing a strongly acidic cation exchange resin into contact with an untreated urea-containing liquid such that the urea contained in the urea-containing liquid is adsorbed in the strongly acidic cation exchange resin, the strongly acidic cation exchange resin having an average pore diameter of 1 to 90 nm and a specific surface area of 10 m2/gdry to 800 m2/gdry and a second adsorption step of bringing the strongly acidic cation exchange resin into contact with a treatment intermediate liquid, which has passed through the first adsorption step, such that the urea contained in the treatment intermediate liquid is adsorbed in the strongly acidic cation exchange resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】尿素含有液から高効率に尿素を除去するとともに、および尿素由来のアンモニアの残存を回避可能な尿素含有液の処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】尿素含有液処理方法は、強酸性陽イオン交換樹脂が、平均細孔径が1nm以上90nm以下であり、比表面積が10m2/gdry以上800m2/gdry以下であり、強酸性陽イオン交換樹脂と未処理の尿素含有液とを接触させて尿素含有液に含まれる尿素を強酸性陽イオン交換樹脂に吸着させる第一吸着工程と、強酸性陽イオン交換樹脂と第一吸着工程を経た処理中間液とを接触させて処理中間液に含まれる尿素を強酸性陽イオン交換樹脂に吸着させる第二吸着工程と、を備える。【選択図】図2
