PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting liquid food or drink, suppressing the pH change and obtaining a desired adjustment effect by ion exchange resin, in the case of expecting to use only either cation exchange resin or anion exchange resin when treating the liquid food or drink by powdered ion exchange resin.SOLUTION: This method for adjusting liquid food or drink includes obtaining desired adjustment effects with the target ion exchange resins using as ion exchange resin when treating liquid food or drink by powdered ion exchange resin, a combination of an H type cation exchange resin and a salt type cation exchange resin, or a combination of an OH type anion exchange resin or a free base type anion exchange resin and a salt type anion exchange resin and also suppressing the pH change before and after adjustment.
