The baler (10) comprising :a frame (14); a feed system (22) coupled to the frame (14); a baling chamber (70) defining an axis (96) therethrough; a crank arm (116, 16a, 116b); a plunger (74) being at least partially positioned within and movable with respect to the baling chamber (70), the plunger (74) having a compression surface (128) and defining a compression plane (152) fixed with respect to the compression surface (128), wherein the compression plane (152) defines a compression angle (156) with respect to the axis (96) of the baling chamber (70); and wherein the compression angle (156) is adjustable independently of the rotation of the crank arm (116, 116a, 116b).
