PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material seed soaking container adapted to replace soaking water with simple configuration.SOLUTION: The raw material seed soaking container 10 includes a container side wall part 12 with its upper edge 13 formed higher by at least a predetermined height than a water level when soaking a drain port 14 provided in a bottom part 11 of the container 10 to drain water used for soaking and a drain pipe 20 equipped outside the container 10 and connected to the drain port 14. The drain pipe 20 includes an inlet end 21 connected to the drain port 14 an outlet end 23 set to a lower height position than the drain port 14 and an intermediate part 22 formed between the inlet end 21 and the outlet end 23 to go up from the inlet end 21, to bend at a bent part 22A and to go down to the outlet end 23.
