The present invention relates to a light amount-adjustable illumination apparatus for inducing synthesis of vitamin D in the body, configured to determine whether a user is an adult or a child by measuring a height of the user and irradiate a predetermined amount of light from an ultraviolet lamp, thereby preventing any side effects occurring by an excessive amount of ultraviolet rays.
