PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technology inexpensively and comprehensively performing treatment for reusing food residue, including transportation and storage of the food residue. SOLUTION: The food residue treatment apparatus includes a treatment container 110 having a treatment space of the food residue A; a flat partitioning member 111 mounted to the treatment container so as to partition the treatment space, having a plurality of holes preventing flow of the food residue and allowing flow of air; an upper space 112 formed in the container above the partition member and housing the food residue; an introduction port 116 introducing the food residue to the upper space; a lower space 113 formed in the container below the partition member and supplied with air; a communication part 114 communicating the lower space with a region outside the treatment container; and an attaching/detaching connector 115 mounted on the communication part and attachable/detachable to/from a blower 120 sending air. The air sent from the blower is fed to the lower space through the attaching/detaching connector and communication part, and fed for drying the food residue housed in the upper space.
