A method for safe walking assistance according to an embodiment of the present invention is performed on a safe walking assistance device that helps a user employing a walking assistance device. The method for safe walking assistance comprises the steps of: determining a safe walking level of the user by using biotic indicators of the user which correspond to bio-signals of the user gripping a handle of the walking assistance device； and controlling a movement of the walking assistance device according to the safe walking level of the user. Accordingly, the present invention enables the user of the walking assistance device to move comfortably and safely by controlling the movement of the walking assistance device according to the safe walking level of the user, using the biotic indicators of the user which correspond to the bio-signals of the user employing the walking assistance device.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 안전 보행 보조 방법은 보조 보행기를 이용하는 사용자의 안전 보행을 위한 안전 보행 보조 장치에서 실행된다. 상기 안전 보행 보조 방법은 상기 보조 보행기의 핸들부를 파지한 사용자의 생체 신호에 대응하는 사용자의 생체 지수를 이용하여 상기 사용자의 안전 보행 등급을 결정하는 단계 및 상기 사용자의 안전 보행 등급에 따라 상기 보조 보행기의 이동을 제어하는 단계를 포함한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 보조 보행기를 이용하는 사용자의 생체 신호에 대응하는 사용자의 생체 지수를 이용하여 상기 사용자의 안전 보행 등급에 따라 보조 보행기의 이동을 제어함으로써 보조 보행기 사용자가 편리하고 안전하게 이동할 수 있도록 한다.
