PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope that can observe an object by keeping sufficient brightness around the object without increasing the quantity of heat generated at an illumination optical part during an observation with a light-emitting element lighted.SOLUTION: The endoscope includes: a cylindrical tip cover 8 formed of a transparent resin member and composing a tip 12 of the endoscope 10 an observation optical part 20 disposed in a second opening 8b provided in the tip cover 8 and an illumination optical part 30 composed with an output end face 32 of a light-emitting part of a light-emitting element 31 disposed at the proximal end of the tip cover 8.
