PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope obtainable of an observation image having large contrast between a blood vessel and surrounding part in observing the surface of a subject in proximity to the same.SOLUTION: A distal end portion 16a provided in the electronic endoscope includes a distal end body 25, a distal end protecting cap 26, an observation lens 27 and illumination lenses 28a, 28b. A blue light reflecting surface 32 is formed on a distal end surface 26c of the distal end protecting cap 26. The observation lens 27 and the illumination lenses 28a, 28b are attached to positions exposed from through-holes 26d-26f formed on the distal end protecting cap 26, and the surfaces thereof are positioned on the same plane as that of the blue light reflecting surface 32. Of the light reflected on the surface H of a subject, blue light is reflected again by the blue light reflecting surface 32. The surface H of the subject is irradiated again with the blue light selectively reflected on the blue light reflecting surface 32. An observation range of an observation optical system 36 is irradiated with illumination light containing a large amount of blue light.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】被検体の表面に近接して観察を行うとき、血管と周辺部位とのコントラストが大きい観察画像を得ることができる。【解決手段】電子内視鏡に設けられた先端部16aは、先端部本体25、先端保護キャップ26、観察レンズ27、照明レンズ28a,28bを備える。先端保護キャップ26の先端面26cに青色光反射面32が形成されている。観察レンズ27、照明レンズ28a,28bは、先端保護キャップ26に形成された貫通孔26d~26fから露呈する位置に取り付けられ、表面が青色光反射面32と同一面上に位置する。被検体の表面Hからの反射光は、青色光反射面32によって青色光が再度反射する。青色光反射面32で選択的に反射した青色光が被検体の表面Hを再び照射する。観察光学系36の観察範囲には、青色光を多く含んだ照明光が照射される。【選択図】図3
