PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article reducing the occurrence degree of distorted twist and having superior fitting property by raising an absorber in protruding shape more three-dimensionally toward the skin side when putting on the absorbent article without lowering a deviation stop effect of an adhesive means.SOLUTION: The absorbent article including an absorbing element between a liquid permeable surface sheet and a liquid impermeable rear face sheet includes a pair of first embosses formed in protruding shape toward the longitudinal centerline side substantially in symmetry based on the centerline on both sides of the longitudinal centerline of the absorbing element, and a pair of second embosses formed in protruding shape toward the width direction outside of the absorbing element from the longitudinal centerline side substantially in symmetry based on the centerline on both sides of the longitudinal centerline of the absorbing element. The second embosses are respectively arranged on the outside of the first embosses with respect to the centerline.
