PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper diaper and a method for manufacturing a paper diaper, capable of inhibiting the occurrence of running of an adhesive in a fastener member and also improving sticking performance of the adhesive.SOLUTION: A tape type paper diaper 1 includes: a diaper body 10 and a fastener member 20. The fastener member 20 includes: a fastener member body 21 and a stopping base material 22. The fastener member body 21 includes: a first part 21a a second part 21b connected to the first part 21a and a third part 21c connected to the second part 21b. The third part 21c is folded up along a boundary part between the second part 21b and the third part 21c, and also the second part 21b is folded up along a boundary part between the first part 21a and the second part 21b, so that the fastener member part 21 can be folded in two or more times.
