PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a healing promoter for diabetic ulcer, which is a refractory chronic skin wound represented by diabetic patients. SOLUTION: A healing accelerator for diabetic ulcer containing Ginula procumbens (perennial herbaceous plant of the family Asteraceae, Perennial herbaceae) or an extract thereof as an active ingredient. The extract of the present invention is preferably an extract with water, alcohols or an alcohol-water mixture. It is also used as an external skin preparation.
