The invention relates to si RNA molecules and their use in methods and pharmaceutical compositions for inhibiting the expression of the ORAI1 gene. The invention also relates to the use of said si RNAs molecules in the treatment and/or prevention of an eye condition characterised by increased expression and/or activity of ORAI1 gene, preferably said eye condition is conjunctivitis and/or an ocular allergy such as seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, perennial allergic conjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, atopic keratoconjunctivitis, and giant papillary conjunctivitis.La invención se refiere a moléculas de ARNip y a su uso en métodos y composiciones farmacéuticas para la inhibición de la expresión del gen ORAI1. La invención se refiere asimismo al uso de dichas moléculas de ARNip en el tratamiento y/o la prevención de una afección del ojo caracterizada por una mayor expresión y/o actividad del gen ORAI1, siendo dicha afección del ojo preferentemente conjuntivitis y/o una alergia ocular como conjuntivitis alérgica estacional, conjuntivitis alérgica perenne, queratoconjuntivitis vernal, queratoconjuntivitis atópica y conjuntivitis papilar gigante.
