Composition for use in the treatment of odontogenic infections by oral route, containing secnidazole in combination with an antibiotic of the macrolide family, where secnidazole and the antibiotic are combined in one drug or presented as a pair of drugs. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the antibiotic is selected from spiramycin and azithromycin. A pharmaceutical dosage form for oral administration containing the composition according to claim 1 or 2, administered as a single dose and containing from 1500 to 2500 mg, preferably about 2000 mg of secnidazole, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or diluent. 4. The pharmaceutical form according to claim 3, characterized in that it further comprises from about 750 mg to 1500 mg, preferably about 1000 mg of azithromycin. A composition according to any one of claims 1 and 2, packaged in the form of one or two drugs, containing: - in the first case, a pharmaceutical form for oral administration containing from 1500 to 2500 mg, preferably 2000 mg, secnidazole and from 750 to 1500 mg, preferably 1000 mg, azithromycin and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or diluent, or, in the second case, on the one hand, a pharmaceutical form for oral administration containing from 1500 to 2500 mg, preferably 2000 mg, secnidazole, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or dilution spruce, and on the other, or one unit of the pharmaceutical form adapted for oral administration and containing 1000 mg of azithromycin and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or diluent, or two pharmaceutical forms for oral administration unit containing 500 mg azitromitsi1.
