PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher configured to facilitate removal of foreign matter caught between a feed chain and a retaining rod while manually feeding stalks to the feed chain.SOLUTION: In the thresher, a thresher upper frame body (34) including the retaining rod (13) is mounted to a thresher lower frame body (35) including the feed chain (14) so that the thresher upper frame body is freely vertically turned relative to the thresher lower frame body, and a locking mechanism (9) is provided for holding the thresher upper frame body (34) at a lowered position.
