PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign objects from being caught in a feed chain when hand-cropped grain culms are manually supplied to the starting end of the feed chain.SOLUTION: A threshing upper-frame body (34) having a handling chamber (21a) and a holding rod (13) opposite to the upper side of the feed chain (14) is vertically turnably attached to a threshing lower-frame body (35) having the feed chain (14). A biasing means (36) for biasing the threshing upper-frame body (34) toward the rising side is provided. A locking mechanism (9) for locking the threshing upper-frame body (34) in a lowered position against a lifting biasing force by the biasing means (36) is provided.
