PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the sound volume values of slave units as much as possible to a standard value while suppressing the frequency of setting sound volume by a medical worker.SOLUTION: Whether the sound volume values of the slave units are the standard value or higher is determined, and when there are many nurse call slave units 1 which have the standard value or higher, the sound volume value of a master unit is made higher by a difference average value between the sound volume values of the slave units and the standard value. The sound volume values of the slave units 1 with the standard value or higher are set to the standard value, and the sound volume values of the nurse call slave units 1 with the sound volume values lower than the standard value are made lower by the difference average value. When there are many nurse call slave units 1 which have the standard value or lower, the sound volume value of the master unit is lowered by the difference average value. The sound volume values of the nurse call slave units 1 with the standard value or lower are set to the standard value, and the sound volume values of the nurse call slave units 1 with the sound volume values exceeding the standard value are made higher by the difference average value.
