The present invention relates to a peritoneal dialysis machine having at least one machine housing and having at least one drain pan for receiving one or more solution bags for storing consumed dialyzate, wherein the drain pan is connected to at least one weighing cell such that the weight of the drain pan can be detected by means of the weighing cell, wherein at least one damping system is provided to prevent the occurrence of undue force introduction into the weighing cell, wherein the damping system has at least one damper to which the drain pan is directly or indirectly fastened, wherein the damper is connected to the weighing cell such that the weight of the drain pan acting thereon is transmitted to the weighing cell.
