PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self injection assisting tool that has a needle cap removable from a syringe by an easy operation, prevents a cover from opening in a middle of a self injection, reduces reluctance of a patient relative to the self injection, and enables the syringe to be recognized in a state where the cover is closed.SOLUTION: The self injection assisting tool for assisting the self injection, in which the patient self-injects a therapeutic drug filled in the syringe, is provided with a main body that secures the syringe, and a transparent cover openable/closable relative to the main body. The cover is closable relative to the main body and lockable when the syringe is secured by the main body at a correct position. The self injection assisting tool is further provided with a needle cap removal mechanism for removing the needle cap of the syringe, and an operation mechanism for causing, according to closing operation of the cover relative to the main body, the needle cap removal mechanism to operate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
