PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical injector capable of administering a medication to a particular depth into the body of a patient.SOLUTION: The medical injector comprises: a needle 18； and a slidable body disposed adjacent to the needle 18. The slidable body includes: a cylinder 122 slidably attached to an outer surface of a portion of the medical injector at a position offset from the axis of the needle 18； and a shield portion 124 connected to a distal portion of the cylinder 122. The cylinder 122 has depth marks 126 which indicate the extent of depression of the slidable body during injection, thereby providing an indication of depth of injection by the needle 18.
