PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-agent type hair treatment agent which provides excellent softness of hair which is felt during use, and a hair treatment method.SOLUTION: The multi-agent type hair treatment agent comprises a pretreatment agent in which is blended an anionic acrylic polymer, and a post-treatment agent in which are blended a cationic surfactant and a higher alcohol.
