FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports medicine and is intended to determine ranking of athletes. Wearer is fastened with a wearable device (helmet, glasses or lenses) that forms augmented reality, which is part of the hardware and software complex. Device that generates augmented reality is fed with pairs of light pulses, a reference length of 80 ms and adjustable in duration, repeating through a time interval of 1 s. Pulse that is adjustable in duration is delayed or terminated earlier relative to the time of presentation of the reference pulse. In the first stage of measurements, the delay time or early end of the pulse regulated with respect to the pulse duration relative to the reference one is increased at each subsequent presentation discretely with a constant step of 0.5 ms, subject will not determine the moment of sensation that the light pulses begin or end not simultaneously. In the second stage of measurements, the delay time or early end of a pulse that is adjustable in duration is reduced with each subsequent presentation discretely with a constant step of 0.1 ms, subject will not determine the moment of sensation that the light pulses begin or end simultaneously. Delay or early termination of a pulse that is adjustable in duration relative to the reference pulse at the moment of sensation that the light pulses begin or end simultaneously are fixed. Time of inertia of the visual system is assumed to be equal to the value of the delay time or the time of the early end of the light pulse regulated with respect to the duration relative to the reference one recorded at the second stage of the measurements. Rating is calculated as the reciprocal of the time of inertia of the visual analyzer, multiplied by 50.
