The utility model refers to devices for the thermal treatment of fish or fish products, meat, sausages. The drying and smoking unit for foodstuffs contains a thermally insulated chamber with a door, a product container, a fan installed in the recirculation manifold, water injection nozzles, heating elements, a smoke generator, a filter, pipelines with shutters, and an automatic process control system. In the chamber, there are installed along the side walls of the nozzle for injecting the drying agent. Outside the rear wall of the chamber is equipped with an additional recirculation circuit. The circuit provides an additional supply of fresh air, the removal of part of the spent drying agent and the creation of horizontal streams of drying agent inside the chamber. An additional recirculation loop includes a fan, suction and pressure pipelines with flaps. The pressure line is connected to the manifold. To the outlet nozzles of the collector are installed supply nozzles. Supply air nozzles are installed in the supply holes in the rear wall of the chamber.
