PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave processing technique capable of sorting out pulse wave signals to be used as data in accordance with the extent of influence of waveform disturbances due to body movement.SOLUTION: A pulse wave interval detection part 103 samples a pulse wave signal outputted by a pulse wave measurement part 101 and detects pulse wave intervals. A correlation coefficient calculation part 106 determines a use range of the pulse waves to be used for calculating a correlation coefficient on the basis of the pulse wave interval detected by the pulse wave interval detection part 103, uses a pulse wave signal showing pulse waves within the use range and a body movement signal showing the body movement measured by a body movement measurement part 102 almost at the same time of day as a time of day when the pulse waves within the use range are measured, and calculates a correlation coefficient time serially.
