PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Clostridium difficile vaccine.SOLUTION: A composition comprises an excipient which increases a toxin or toxoid of Clostridium difficile and the thermal stability of the toxin or toxoid, and/or reduces or delays aggregation of the toxin or toxoid. The composition comprises toxoids of C. difficile toxins A and B. A vaccine composition comprises an aluminum compound as an adjuvant. The vaccine composition is in a liquid form, a dry powder form, a lyophilization form, a spray drying form, or a foam-dried form. The excipient is selected from the group consisting of a buffer, an isotonizing agent, a simple carbohydrate, sugar, a carbohydrate polymer, an amino acid, an oligopeptide, polyamino acid, a polyhydric alcohol and ethers thereof, a surfactant, lipid, a surface active agent, an antioxidant, a salt, albumin, gelatin, formaldehyde, or a combination thereof.【課題】クロストリジウム・ディフィシレワクチンの提供。【解決手段】クロストリジウム・ディフィシレ（Clostridium difficile）の毒素またはトキソイドと毒素もしくはトキソイドの熱安定性を増大するおよび/または毒素もしくはトキソイドの凝集を低減するもしくは遅延する賦形剤を含む組成物。C.ディフィシレ毒素AおよびBのトキソイドを含む組成物。アジュバントとしてアルミニウム化合物を含むワクチン組成物。液体形態、乾燥粉末形態、凍結乾燥形態、噴霧乾燥形態、または泡乾燥形態であるワクチン組成物。賦形剤は、緩衝剤、等張化剤、単純炭水化物、糖、炭水化物重合体、アミノ酸、オリゴペプチド、ポリアミノ酸、多価アルコールおよびそれらのエーテル、界面活性剤、脂質、表面活性剤、酸化防止剤、塩、アルブミン、ゼラチン、ホルムアルデヒド、またはそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される。【選択図】なし
