PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling pests, which can effectively control pests in open space (particularly, in outdoor space) and reduce adherence of chemicals around the atomizing device, and an ultrasonic atomizing device which is used for it.SOLUTION: Micropores which penetrate a vibration plate 12 in the thickness direction are formed, in which the vibration plate 12 atomizes a chemical that contains a pest control ingredient by the vibration of a piezoelectric vibrator 11 that generates ultrasonic vibration by energization.
