PURPOSE: A transgenic zebrafish which specifically expresses fluorescent proteins in myelinating cells is provided to develop myelinating cells to study multiple sclerosis.CONSTITUTION: A transgenic zebrafish containing a fusion gene construct of sequence number 8 in a genome thereof specifically expresses fluorescent proteins in myelinating cells. The construct is prepared by fusing a Tol2 transposon, a mbp(myelin-basic protein) promoter, and GAL4 and EosFP gene fragments, in order.
