PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap capable of preventing a harmless small living organism from being needlessly devitalized, and injured or killed by mistake.SOLUTION: A cup-shaped container 1 is put on a small living organism A. A thin sheet material 2 is then inserted between the cup-shaped container 1 and a contact surface such as a floor or wall, and slid so that the small living organism A is put on the thin sheet material 2. After it is confirmed that the small living organism A moves onto the thin sheet material 2, the cup-shaped container 1 and thin sheet material 2 are brought up to move the small living organism A to a place where it is to be released. After a window, door or the like leading to the outside is opened, the cup-shaped container 1 and thin sheet material 2 are turned upside down to move the small living organism A to the inside of the cup-shaped container 1.
