PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper allowing adjustment of the position of three-dimensional gathers to effectively function, and effectively preventing leakage of urine from the diaper.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1A has coupling members 70. One end of each coupling member 70 is connected to a left or right side edge 6a or 6b of a rear body 6 of the diaper, and the other end is fixed to a three-dimensional gather 26 disposed on the same side edge of a pair of three-dimensional gathers 26. A fastening member 72 which can be fastened to a fastening area 13 formed on a front body 2 is disposed in a part of the coupling member 70. The diaper is configured to be wearable by extracting the fastening part where the fastening member 72 is disposed outward from the side edge 6a or 6b of the rear body 6 and fastening the fastening member 72 to the fastening area 13. The three-dimensional gathers 26 can be unfolded outward from an absorber 22 in such a way as operatively connected with the coupling members 70.
