PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is made optimally wearable to every location of a body shape to have improved wearability and leak prevention characteristics.
SOLUTION: An absorbent body 4 is divided into four ranges of: a range I positioned on the center part in the width direction of a sanitary napkin 1 including at least a blood outlet H a range II positioned on both side parts of the range I a range III positioned on front and rear parts of the ranges I, II and a range IV positioned between the range III and an front and rear end parts. The absorbent body 4 in the ranges I, II, III is formed in almost uniform thickness and rigidity in those ranges is in a relative relation range I>range IV>range II, range III.
