An apparatus for storing plants of the present invention comprises: a storage container for storing the plants at a low temperature； and a growth adjusting unit connected to the storage container for equalizing the photosynthesis and the respiration of the plants. The present invention: maintains the temperature inside the storage container at a low temperature for a long time, thereby reducing the photosynthesis of the plants； adjusts and controls luminous intensity of a light emitting member for equalizing the photosynthesis and the respiration of the plants and maintaining a light compensation level for a long time, thereby minimizing the photosynthesis of the plants, equalizing the respiration of the plants with the photosynthesis, and maintaining the quality of the plants for a long time by maximally controlling the growth of the plants.본 발명에 따른 식물 저장장치는, 식물이 저온으로 수용되는 저장용기； 및 상기 저장용기와 연계되되, 식물의 광합성량과 호흡량이 같아지도록 구성되는 생장조절수단；을 포함한다.이와 같이 본 발명은, 저장용기의 내부를 저온으로 장기간 유지시킴으로써 식물의 광합성량을 줄이고, 이와 동시에 식물의 광합성량과 호흡량이 같아지도록 발광부재의 광도를 조절제어하여 광보상점을 장기간 유지시킴으로써, 식물의 광합성량이 최소화되면서 이때 호흡량도 같도록 함에 따라, 식물의 생장이 최대한 억제되어 장기간 품질을 유지시킬 수 있다.
