PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a plant container comprising a water storing container part in which water for plant is stored, a flooring material storing part for arrangement of a water absorptive flooring material on the water storing container part, and a water receiving part communicating to bottom surface of the water storing container part, and a planting device comprising the plant container and a case member connected to the plant container so as to be compacted entirely and used simply and conveniently.SOLUTION: A planting device 60A comprises: a plant container 20 in which a water receiving part 17 is arranged in a manner where the water receiving part 17 projects outward in the radial direction from a part of periphery of a water storing container part 10 and a frame shape case member 50 surrounding the plant container 20 to be engaged with it.
