The inventions relate to methods and devices for air separation of bulk materials and can be used in food, chemical and other branches of industry, as well as in agriculture for preparation of seeds for sowing and for breeding purposes. A method for separating bulk material in a flowing fluid consists in gravity feed of particles of a mixture to be separated, aerodynamic action thereon at a sharp angle to the vertical with an aerodynamic flow having circulation zones, and removal of ready-made fractions. The aerodynamic flow is formed in the form of individual jets moving from top to bottom, which aerodynamically interact with each other due to expansion and Coanda effect. The circulation zones are formed of equal area and in the form of toroids, each of which is concentric with its own jet. A device for implementation of the method of separation comprises a hopper with a vibrating tray, a jet generator mounted beneath, which is connected to the drive of air pressure supply, a separation chamber, beneath which are located the collectors of fractions. The jet generator is made in the form of a hollow forcedly rotating ordinary drum, which generating surface has a number of channels separate from each other to form a system of individual jets. The separation chamber and drive for supply of air under pressure are diametrically interconnected through said drum. The channels for formation of a system of jets can be made in the form of nozzles mounted on the surface of rotating ordinary drum at a sharp angle to its tangent in the direction coinciding with the direction of rotation of said drum, and are the nozzles of the drum. Using the inventions can improve the quality of separation of bulk mixtures into individual fractions by forming an air system acting on the mixture consisting of individual moving together jets from top to bottom, and increasing the number of circulation zones while reducing their size by changing the design of the jet generator.Изобретения относят
