PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus efficiently reducing X-ray shielding due to a detector: and to provide a control method.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes a radiation source, a plurality of detectors and a processing circuit. The radiation source radiates X-rays while rotating around a prescribed track. The plurality of detectors are designated on an annular ring and detect the radiated X-rays.
