PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently add an additive between cut food products, by mechanically cutting the food products without impairing an appearance.SOLUTION: The cutting work device comprises a leftward chuck part 3 for holding a left part of the food products, a rightward chuck part 4 for holding a right part of the food products, a cutting part 6 for cutting the food products, an adding part 7 for adding the additive to the food products and a mating part 8 for mating cutting surfaces of the food products. The cutting part 6 cuts the food products in a left part and a right part in a state of holding the food products by the leftward chuck part 3 and the rightward chuck part 4. The adding part 7 adds the additive to both or any one of the cutting surfaces of the left part of the food products and the right part of the food products.
