The present disclosure relates to processes useful in the isolation and purification of enfumafungin, which is classified as a triterpene glycoside antifungal compound and acts as a glucan synthase inhibitor. Enfumafungin has application in the treatment of conditions caused by fungal infection and is also useful as an intermediate in the preparation of other compounds useful as antifungal agents and/or inhibitors of (1,3)-β-D-glucan synthesis.本發明係關於適用於分離與純化被分類為三萜葡萄糖苷抗真菌化合物且作為葡聚糖合成酶抑制劑發揮作用之英夫馬芬凈(ENFUMAFUNGIN)之方法。英夫馬芬凈可應用於治療由真菌感染引起之病症中，且亦適用為製備其他可用為抗真菌劑及/或(1,3)-β-D-葡聚糖合成之抑制劑之化合物之中間物。
