The present invention relates to the field of N- acyl ethanolamide such as oleoylethanolamide. In particular, the present invention relates to flowable emulsion containing oleoyl ethanolamide, compositions containing these emulsions, and to possible uses of such compositions. A further aspect of the present invention is a free-flowing powder containing oleoyl ethanolamide. Free-flowing powder may be obtained by drying the amorphous emulsion containing such oleoylethanolamide.
