There are three flexible extensions to pique the greyhounds natural curiosity. The left(figure 2), right(figure 3) and a rear(figure 4) extension. All extensions are anchored from the clip for structural integrity to withstand the weight of the greyhound. The interior of the body section has a plastic insert that makes an audible noise when mouthed by the greyhound. An easily opened clip (figure 5 and 6) makes this product adaptable to any arm. The underside is plain and without snag points (figure 7), and can be used as a ground, or drag, lure. The left and right arms are made from a hessian insert with a textured fabric covering. The hessian ends are fixed to the textured fabric, (together) which is sewn into a tube. Turn tube inside out, and hessian is now on the inside but fixed at one end, with the open loop at the other. Several rows of secure stitching holds hessian in place with textured fabric. The rear extension is made from a hessian insert with a textured fabric covering. The rear extension is secured into the body, however the integrity is looped back to the clip. The hessian is laid flat to the wrong side of the textured fabric and secured at the end. Turn tube inside out, and secure stitch entire area. The body is made from a polyester heavy fabric, suspended by an 8cm steel clip.2 A fluorescent lighter material is for race events (figure 8). While a second, more robust material is for trials and training use. 10
