PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which can excellently suppress an MR signal from a plurality of metabolites, such as a water signal and a fat signal, in an MRS.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a data collection unit and a data processing unit. The data collection unit collects from a subject a magnetic resonance signal for a magnetic resonance spectroscopy analysis. The data processing unit acquires a frequency spectrum of a magnetic resonance signal where a first magnetic resonance signal component from a first metabolite and a second magnetic resonance signal component from a second metabolite are suppressed by data processing that suppresses the first magnetic resonance signal component and the second magnetic resonance signal component with respect to the magnetic resonance signal collected by the data collection unit.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
