PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable nonwoven fabric without exuding a plaster to the surface on the side opposite to the coated surface even when the thickness is reduced and to provide a method for producing the stretchable nonwoven fabric.SOLUTION: The stretchable nonwoven fabric is obtained by entanglement of mutual constituent fibers of a fiber web including crimped fibers as a main component. Furthermore, in the stretchable nonwoven fabric, crimps of latently crimpable fibers subjected to water-repellent treatment with a water-repellent treating agent are developed. The method for producing the stretchable nonwoven fabric includes forming a fiber web having the latently crimpable fibers subjected to the water-repellent treatment with the water-repellent treating agent as a main component, then entangling the mutual constituent fibers of the fiber web, subsequently carrying out a heat shrinking treatment and developing the crimps of the latently crimpable fibers.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】 厚さが薄くなっても、膏体が伸縮性不織布の塗布面とは反対側の面に染み出してしまうことのない伸縮性不織布及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 捲縮繊維を主体とする繊維ウエブの構成繊維同士が交絡してなる伸縮性不織布であって、前記捲縮繊維は撥水処理剤を用いて撥水加工された潜在捲縮性繊維の捲縮が発現してなる伸縮性不織布。撥水処理剤を用いて撥水加工された潜在捲縮性繊維を主体とする繊維ウエブを形成し、次いで前記繊維ウエブの構成繊維同士を交絡させ、次いで熱収縮処理を行い前記潜在捲縮性繊維の捲縮を発現させる伸縮性不織布の製造方法。【選択図】 なし
