PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood preservative exhibiting an excellent effectiveness both on the surface of the wood and at the inside of the wood.SOLUTION: This wood preservative is provided by incorporating a suspension as a first preparation of which active ingredient remains on the surface of the wood, and a liquid agent as a second preparation of which active ingredient penetrates into the wood. In the wood preservative, the active ingredient of the first preparation remains on the surface of the wood, and also the active ingredient of the second preparation penetrates into the wood.
