A manipulator, including an elongated chassiscontaining a U-shaped channel defining a distal directionand a proximal direction. The manipulator also includesan adjuster that is configured to slide in the U-shapedchannel. The adjuster includes a first wheel which onrotation translates a guidewire positioned in theadjuster along an axis of the guidewire, and a secondwheel which on rotation rotates the guidewire positionedin the adjuster about the axis of the guidewire. Theadjuster also includes a port, distal to the first andthe second wheel, that is configured to accept a tubularballoon and the guidewire.
