The present invention relates to a composition containing a saponin fraction derived from enzyme-treated tea tree root. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition which can offer the skin with excellent effects of improving skin condition. To this end, used is the saponin fraction which is isolated after treating a tea tree root extract with enzyme, thereby exhibiting better effects of reducing cytotoxicity than an existing saponin fraction extracted from the tea tree root. Thus, safety for skin increases, and thus the greater content of the saponin fraction can be added in the composition.본 발명은 차나무 뿌리 유래 사포닌 분획물을 함유하는 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 차나무 뿌리 추출물을 효소로 처리한 다음 분리한 사포닌 분획물을 사용함으로써 기존 차나무 뿌리에서 추출한 사포닌 분획물에 비하여 세포 독성을 저감시켜 피부에 대한 안전성을 높이고, 이와 같이 얻은 사포닌 분획물을 조성물에 더 높은 수준으로 포함시킬 수 있어 더 우수한 피부 상태 개선 효과를 제공할 수 있는 조성물에 관한 것이다.
