PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow long element having projections capable of collecting the thrombus adhering to the inner wall of a blood vessel directly around an opening by reciprocating the hollow long element in an extending direction in the blood vessel or rotating the same in a circumferential direction, thereby to suck and remove the thrombus from the opening.SOLUTION: A hollow long element 1 comprises a hollow part 2a extending in an extending direction, and a connection part to a suction apparatus leading to the hollow part, and is inserted into a body.
