PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion in which a physiologically acceptable salt of tranexamic acid ester with a low solubility to water and oil is dispersed into a composition in a stable condition.SOLUTION: The invention provides an emulsion in which an oil phase is dispersed into an external phase having a both continuing structure. The external phase comprises: A) physiologically acceptable salt of tranexamic acid ester B) an amphiphilic agent selected from combinations of a straight chain or branched chain saturated or unsaturated alcohol of a carbon number of 12-22, and an alkyl glyceryl ether which is mono- or di-ether of a straight chain or branched chain saturated or unsaturated alcohol with a carbon number of 8-22 and glycerin C) oil solution and D) water. The oil phase which is a dispersion phase contains E) an oil solution. The total content of the component which constitutes the external phase to the total mass of the emulsion is 55-95 mass%.
