PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide granular material for treating excrement which allows a stable storage for a long time and contains bean curd lees in a content of 95 to 99.5%.
SOLUTION: The granular material for treating excrement shows that the inclusion is a material with bactericidal action, or a mixture of a material having bactericidal action with a highly water-absorbing resin, or a mixture of a material having bactericidal action, a highly water-absorbing resin with a material having a deodorization function comprising water-free bean curd lees with 95 to 99.9 wt.% of the content, and the remaining 5 to 0.1 wt.% of the content, and is formed as the granular material for treating excrement with at least 1 mm of particle size, and thus raw bean curd lees conventionally wasted and incinerated as it was, is allowed to be effectively utilized as the stable and long time storable granular material for treating excrement.
