The present invention relates to a safety syringe having a needle cylinder, a needle base and a pushrod. The needle base has a needle tube and a needle stand. The needle stand movably mounted on the needle cylinder. At least one movable arm is mounted on a bottom of the needle stand. A needle stand hook buckle is mounted on a free end of the movable arm. A pushrod hook buckle is mounted on the end of the pushrod being shaped corresponding to the needle stand hook buckle. Needle of the invention may be retracted into the needle cylinder to avoid damages or cross infection to nurses or doctors during operation.
