PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter capable of readily carrying out the loading operation of a seedling tray holding frame and extremely improving an operation efficiency by constituting the seedling transplanter so as to feed each fixed number of seedling tray retained in the holding frame to a transportation route. SOLUTION: A seedling planting part 4 is detachably provided with a seedling tray holding frame 50 capable of retaining plural seedling trays T charged with a seedling. The seedling trays T retained in the holding frame 50 are fed one by one to a transportation route. A supporting apparatus 30 for the seedling tray holding frame 50, capable of being inclined according to the inclination of the transportation route after the seedling tray holding frame 50 is loaded on the seedling planting part 4 in an approximately horizontal position of the seedling trays T, is installed. Further, preferably a means for forcibly sending the seedling trays T of the seedling tray holding frame 50 loaded on the seedling planting part 4 to the transportation route is arranged.
