PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky transplanter whose machine frame has a better longitudinal balance than those of conventional sulky transplanters and which is lightweight and compact. SOLUTION: This sulky transplanter in which a seedling-transplanting device for taking out seedlings from a seedling-loading table and then planting the taken seedlings in a field is liftably attached to the rear portion of the sulky travel vehicle body, characterized by disposing a rear frame 42 having planting tools attached thereto at the rearer place of the urachine frame than the seedling-loading table of the seedling-planting device, disposing a transmission shaft 69 for transmitting a driving power from the more front side of the machine frame than the seedling-loading table to the rear frame 42, and additionally integrally forming a planting frame 30 with pipes.
