PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost connector for an animal preventing unintentional disconnection without adding a component or by adding one component easily attached.SOLUTION: The connector for the animal includes: a body 4 including a base portion 2 connected to a base end ring 1 and a hook portion 3 extended from the base portion 2 and a locking pin 8 having a closing habit to close an opening part 6 of the hook portion 3 when the locking pin is urged within the base portion 2 by a spring to project and pressure-welded to the front end of the hook portion 3, and having an operation part 7 retreated against the spring 5 around the base portion 2.
